Vito Curatolo Arini built the first family winery dedicated to Marsala production dating back to 1875, and today is the longest standing family owned Marsala producer. After Alberto Antonini joined the family in 2001, he brought a new level of quality to the farming and winemaking and the ability to work with other native varieties from Sicily. The Paccamora Nero d’Avola is sourced from Estate vineyards in the Province of Caltanissetta in central Sicily. The vineyards are steep hillsides and are situated 1500 ft above sea level. This allows the wine to retain an elegant brightness on the palate complemented by 3-4 months of aging in used oak barrels. This is your perfect everyday drinking style Nero d’Avola.
